- Data migration could be difficult
- Cannot roll out feature by feature gradually - that requires a firm cut-off date switching to the new platform
- Option 2:
- Hard to hire a senior developer
- If using existing staff/extending the time-limited position, we have to hold the LMS transition for another 2 years. There are extra efforts to maintain the infrastructure (e.g. ColdFusion) for LMS.
