VPM

Data Migration

  • CMS want to keep File Retention for Inspects daily report

  • CMS team was thinking about having a CMS staff manually add VPM reports/data into CPMS Project Files. They will need to be a CPMS admin

General Workflow

  1. Start Up form for CPMS project

    1. This is the same one where we fill in for the password

    2. First chargeable day is the NTP (PM fill out the NTP)

    3. PM fill out the change order and NTP. We can pull in the data from CPMS

  2. PMs fill out the form for CMS and then Frank add the project in VPM

  3. Change Order is filled out by the CPMS PMs and can be pulled into CMS

    1. Can skip this process if we implement change order in CPMS

  4. Landing page for all user groups is the project listing page, you can only see project you are related to unless you are an admin

Project landing page tabs

  • Tabs not being used is

    1. Storm water

    2. Utilities

    3. Payments (Pay letters)

  • Tab Wants

    1. Standard Docs

    2. Project Summary

    3. Project Docs

    4. Task Manager

    5. Change Order

    6. Transmittals

    7. Submittals (See notes at bottom)

    8. RFIs

    9. Daily Logs

    10. Contacts

    11. Time card

    12. Punchlist

Reports

  • WSWD Is the only one that requires PDF/signatures

    1. The Project Inspector will need to sign off as an agreement (This signature is used for acknowledgement)

    2. They are open to digital signature like SimplySign?

    3. Potentially look into not having a signature but a checkbox to record who approved or sign off on the agreement

  • Punch List might require a PDF as it needs a picture attach to it

    1. They technically don't need pdfs but need photos to show in the report

      1. Similar - Project info cip report?

    2. The project inspector will need to click the check box for completion

    3. The person (whoever is assigned as project inspectors/manager to that prj) who created the punchlist will check the box for completion

      1. May need to change access if user separate from city or

  • WSWD & Inspector reports only show the latest updates per fields instead of audit chronology

Submittals

  • For CMS Submittals is a bigger scope than Lab team. The submittals

    1. CMS said as long as these final submittals are put within the CPMS project folders then the VPM module is not necessary

    2. No data entry on CMS team
