Bid Packager
Bid packager is a platform to customize and consolidate the bid documents into one single PDF file. Based on the agreement type of a procurement, Bid packager automatically picks the list of documents to be included and customized. For Minor Contracts, if the department is PW, DOT and ESD, It can auto-fill director’s name in the signature line.

Customize Bid Documents
Bid Packager can customize the documents by pre-filling known data and by providing screens to get your input for specific fields to tailor the bid documents for your project.
Auto-fill information from Main Project Tab like the Department, Division, Project Manager name and his/her phone number.
Auto-fill from Procurements Tab like the Advertising Date, Bid Opening date, pre-conference data and Biddingo classification codes.
Provides input screens for other specific customization like Contractor’s License requirements, Bidder’s experience etc for NTC, Proposal, Bidder’s experience, Contract, Special Provisions. See Input Screens for Specific Documents for details.
Upload Schedule of Quantities, technical specs, record drawings etc. All uploads through Bid Packager will be automatically saved under 7)PROCUREMENT/1-Pre-Advertisement folder of Project Files as xxxx-Schedule of Quantities.pdf, xxxx-techSpecs.pdf etc where xxxx is the project ID.
Right panel previews the customized PDF document.
Auto-saves customized values.
Easy navigation among the documents with Prev-Next buttons.
Automatically adds Attachment 1-7 based on funds choice.
Compile into one document
A click of single button, bid Packager quickly checks for the required values which should be in to make a better document and compiles all bid documents into one file and automatically store it under 7)PROCUREMENT/1-Pre-Advertisement folder of Project Files as PrjID-Plans And Specifications.pdf. Additionally stores a copy of Notice to Contractors.pdf and its html version for advertising or other purposes.
Launch Bid Packager
The Bid Packager is launched by clicking on the Create Bid Package button from the Procurement tab on the Project Input form.
Create Bid Package
With a single click of the big blue button, it firsts checks for some values which are nice to have to create the package and creates a single PDF file. The naming format is prj Id-document name. For example - prjId - Plans and Specifications.pdf.
All the files uploaded in Bid Packager and the final document created, all are saved in Project files at 12)BIDDING INFORMATION/1-Pre-Advertisement folder.

Signature sheet takes information from the Main Project tab like the department, division and implementation manager and auto fills them.

Notice to Contractors (Major Contracts)
NTC document takes information from the Procurements tab for the Bid Opening date, Pre-Conference and Biddingo classification codes.
Notice to Contractors (Minor Contracts)
Other than taking information from the Procurements tab, for Minor contracts Bid Packager provides an online-editor with project description as a starting point for Scope of Work.
Note: The online editor can handle paste from word but it removes the styling from the content as Word brings in lot of unnecessary tags.
