ArcGIS (ArcMap) version 10.xx is now deprecated! ArcMap is replaced by ArcGIS Pro. Only install ArcMap 10.xx if requested for legacy reasons, otherwise please install ArcGIS Pro for all users.

Check softbank for the most recent version. Esri is still putting out new versions for bug fixes due to the high volume of legacy users.

HOW TO INSTALL

Open ArcGIS_Desktop_1071_169506.exe and follow the installation guide. You will need an IT administrator password to do this.

HOW TO CHANGE LICENSE

Search Windows 10 for "ArcGIS Administrator". Right click and "Run as an Administrator".

Select "Desktop" from the folder tree. Choose the license level. Use "Basic" unless instructed to do otherwise. Only use Concurrent Use do not select Single Use. Change the License Manager to "PW-LICENSE" and press OK.

If the option is grayed out make sure you have "Run as an Administrator" and that ArcMap or ArcCatalog are not open anywhere on the PC.
